Combermere Abbey Wedding Photography

Kate & Sean chose the Cheshire venue, Combermere Abbey, for their fun filled wedding day.

They were surrounded by the Victorian Walled Gardens, where the beautiful Glasshouse is situated, and took full advantage of the lush lawns to entertain guests.

The preparations were already in full swing when I arrived. Kate and the girls were finishing final touches to hair and makeup while the boys were acquainting themselves with a dram of Haig Whisky.

Soon it was time for Kate to be transported to the Glasshouse in the stunning  1927 Crossley Saloon – I was quite jealous!

There were smiles aplenty as Kate walked down the short aisle to her waiting fiance and soon they had taken the final step over to be man and wife. The official signing of the register was duly completed and they made ready for the confetti shower.

Shortly afterwards, we left their guests to enjoy the Prosecco and canapes and I took them for their wedding portraits among the stunning grounds. They were so happy!

They welcomed their guests into the Pavillion and roles were reversed as they were welcomed as husband and wife. After dinner, there was a fantastic set of speeches from friends and family, including the all important “groom looking embarrassed” photo.

I make it a goal of mine to capture it naturally using a documentary style.

Once they had dispensed with the cake cutting, the first dance and serious dancing began. They were such a fun bunch! The dance floor was awash with moves and music as they partied.

Oh, but there was one last treat for them – a sparkler exit. This a really popular option right now, and it’s easy to see why. Thanks for choosing me as your Cheshire wedding photographer!
