Jewish Wedding Photography

Amanda & James chose Crewe Hall in South Cheshire for their Jewish wedding. It was chock-full of fantastic traditions!

Their day began with bridal preparations at Crewe Hall. Amanda and her bridesmaids and flower girls enjoyed the pampering and fun of the makeup and hair. But before long it was time for the wedding dress… and for the traditions to begin.

The first order of the day was the official civil ceremony. This was held in a beautiful intimate room at Crewe Hall. I  love the large windows at Crewe – they provide the most amazing light to photograph in. A few tears later and they were officially man and wife, and it was time for the Jewish ceremony in the long gallery.

Back downstairs, they entertained their guests, ate canapes and we took some couple photographs and group photographs.

There was an enormous amount of laughter and fun from everyone.

Soon it was time to make their way into dinner and dancing. The Israeli dancing particularly was a riot! They weren’t sat down for very long at all, as they and their guests took to the floor regularly right until the end…
