Kew Gardens Wedding Photography

If you live in urban West London but you crave greenery and nature, what do you do? You go to one of the many stunning parks and spend the day relaxing with friends.

Now, what if that day is your wedding day and you want a beautiful London wedding surrounded by trees? You book the historic Kew Gardens, of course!

The world-renowned Royal Botanical gardens, Grade I and II listed properties and Glass Houses which make up this World Heritage Site were the perfect choice for Lulu and Adam, who fell in love with the stunning views across the River Thames, the private gardens and especially the Nash Conservatory!

Their wedding day began with fun at the modern Kew Gardens Hotel, which is about a 3 minute drive (10 minutes in London traffic of course…) from Kew Gardens. The girls were in great spirits, which the rain outside simply couldn’t dampen (sorry for the pun..). Lulu had splashed out on some beautiful Jimmy Choo wedding shoes!

Adam had made her a card from scratch – a really touching gesture – and the girls were blown away by his creativity. Good going Adam!

As Lulu’s makeup was finished by an exceptional makeup artist Claire Salter, the guys were in the pub readying their nerves with “just a couple”.

The girls were transported to the Nash Conservatory, with Lulu hidden from view behind a heart shaped parade. A touching ceremony was followed by drinks & canapes. Smiles were everywhere as I took them for their bride & groom portrait photographs.

Kew Gardens wedding photographs will take advantage of the flora and fauna in the beautiful gardens, the iconic bridges and the incredible tree-lined lawns. Lulu & Adam were so incredibly happy together and every kiss spoke volumes.

Back at the Nash Conservatory, there was time for group photographs before moving to the colourfully decorated Orangery for the evening reception.

After the wedding breakfast, everyone was treated to laughter, tears and much embarrassment as the speeches were completed in exemplary fashion and a romantic first dance completed their evening.

In their own words

“Your photos are absolutely wonderful, we love them! Thank you so much for capturing the day so beautifully.”

It would be lovely to hear about how you’re planning to celebrate your marriage, so please get in touch.
