6 top Cheshire wedding venues with amazing indoor spaces

My home is in Cheshire and in my decade working at the local venues, I’ve seen many of them. I’ve seen all sorts – from rustic to historic to quirky.
Which have been some of my favourite interiours?

Knowsley Hall

Close to Liverpool, and the ever popular Knowsley Safari Park, lies Knowsley Hall .. with one the most amazing interiors in Cheshire.

Every room at Knowsley has a distinctly regal feel, with an enormous amount of the original historic art and furnishings. It’s literally like being on the set of your favourite period drama, but with dancing, a bar and an enormous amount of fun.

Peckforton Castle

You can’t mention amazing interiors without including Peckforton Castle.

On a national and even international scale, the gothic style of Peckforton Castle lends itself perfectly to a Cheshire wedding. The areas feel like an amazing church with candles and flowers and you can even have the aisle either way, depending on which view you prefer.

The Mere

Close to Knutsford, the Mere makes it to this list by being one of the best blank canvases for your own design.

Some people want an amazing interior, but one which isn’t in a particular style. That’s why the Mere is so popular with wedding planners; it is a fantastic luxury venue, but with an incredible flexible space which you can fashion to look however you want.

Wrenbury Hall

For the most beautiful Marquee you could imagine, with stunning drapes, Wrenbury Hall stands out.

Not only does it have beautiful grounds, Wrenbury Hall has a very uniquely dressed marquee, with a truly stunning almost French feel. However, it also manages to produce a relaxed feel for a wedding day, even given the luxurious surroundings. One of a kind!

Thornton Manor

If you’re looking for a magnificant dining room, this might just be for you.

With one of the most unique ceilings I’ve seen, Thornton Manor impresses as soon as you walk in the door to the dining room. Not only that, but the dark paneling from the rest of the venue looks incredible and the windows allow photographer to use amazing light when capturing your guests enjoying your day.

Crewe Hall

Unique in every day, Crewe Hall offers many spaces which each have a unique feel.

It’s hard to pick a favourite room at Crewe Hall. I’ve worked there many times and it never fails to impress guests who will love the incredible ceilings and ornate wood paneling. They also have a huge second building should you have a large amount of guests.
